I see that video was from a number of years ago, and when I have watched Aubrey Ghent in the past he often played a six string lap steel tuned to Open G.

I don't recall right off seeing him on an eight string steel guitar. Del, do you - or does anyone else know what tuning Elder Ghent is using on the eight string?

He's getting his usual phat tone - sounds great! 8)
