BTW Tele, what colour is the lens on the pilot light ?
i've always dug Purple + Blue.

Hi Folks,
yes that's a 1959 TwinAmp, circuit 5F8-A..and yep, you're right, I never was interested in a 59 Bassman. I like the Twin better ..it's incredibly loud with its four 5881 tubes but still has that Tweed Fender tone.
Pilot lights are always red in my amps Crowbear...

Andy,
let me get this straight-
you'll retro-modify a SF head into a pseudo BF combo amp, yet you are a "purist" about pilot light crystals???
