BTW Tele, what colour is the lens on the pilot light ?
i've always dug Purple + Blue.

Hi Folks,

yes that's a 1959 TwinAmp, circuit 5F8-A..and yep, you're right, I never was interested in a 59 Bassman. I like the Twin better ..it's incredibly loud with its four 5881 tubes but still has that Tweed Fender tone.

let me get this straight-

you'll retro-modify a SF head into a pseudo BF combo amp, yet you are a "purist" about pilot light crystals??? Image Image
