This is an interesting event. Closest thing I have seen since the Washington PA Steel Show, Which was several years ago.

May 6 is a weekday. Is this jam during the day or in the evening? Most jams are on weekend days to allow for travel time to the event. Since driving time could interfere with work, this could limit attendance, as well as a long drive home at night if it is an evening jam. Please confirm the date and time.

Hey Marvin! Yep! It’s Tuesday 6-10 pm. ~2 hours of music with time for set-up, tear down, and gabbing on either end.

It’s a weekday evening to allow more players who tour or play out on weekends to come out.

Is the jam 4 hours of music or 2 hours and is it for sure to be happening then..I would enjoy hearing players from Eastern US and their concepts/ approach to the music..Jeff Shaner

Hey Jeff! It’s 2 hours of music. Load in (for jammers) is at 6 pm and music starts at 7 pm. At 8 pm there will be a half-hour break for the backing band. 8:30-9:30 is the 2nd hour of music. After that, pickers are free to pack up or hang around, drink, and chat as they please.

Would love to have you all the same, Jeff! There should be some heavy hitters out, so worth it even just to watch in listen.
